Ocean View was born from a simple yet powerful idea: to bring clarity to the depths of the ocean.
For decades, our parent company ACSM Ships operated at sea, collecting vast amounts of subsea data. But as offshore projects became more complex, one challenge remained constant, how to transform that data into reliable, accessible insights that teams could truly act upon.
That is why Ocean View was created. As a specialized spin-off, we took the operational knowledge of ACSM and combined it with a dedicated focus on data processing and reporting. The result is a company built to turn complexity into clarity, and information into decisions.
From our headquarters in Bologna, Italy, we now support international clients in energy, telecom, and marine research, always guided by the same principles: precision, innovation, and trust.

2013

First Collaboration

A small group of professionals met within a survey company and began working together in the field of marine surveys. During this period, they accumulated valuable experience in data processing and reporting, laying the foundations for a shared vision of excellence in subsea geoscience services.

2017

Joining ACSM

The team joined ACSM and established the company’s dedicated Survey Department. Their combined expertise transformed ACSM into a recognized reference in the industry, delivering high-quality geophysical surveys and raising operational standards for offshore projects across multiple sectors.

2022

Strategic Opportunity

ACSM and the professional team identified a strategic opportunity: to create a specialized entity entirely focused on subsea data processing and reporting. This vision set the stage for the foundation of a company dedicated to precision, innovation and clarity in seabed data.

2023

Ocean View Established

Ocean View was officially founded in Bologna, Italy. With a team of specialists and strong operational roots, the company quickly positioned itself as a partner for offshore contractors, vessel owners, and research institutions seeking reliable processing and reporting expertise.

2024

New Headquarters

The company expanded into a new office in Bologna’s historic city center, on Via Santo Stefano. This milestone reflected Ocean View’s growing presence in the subsea industry and reinforced its identity as a modern, client-oriented business with solid local roots and international reach.

2025

Rebranding & New Identity

Ocean View underwent a complete rebranding, introducing a new logo and visual identity to align with its evolving role in the industry. The refreshed brand highlights the company’s values of trust, innovation, and technical excellence, marking a new chapter in its growth journey.
